  • 5th annual Father/Son Cake Bake contest will be held at this event (see rules below)
    

2005 Contest Rules

1. Cakes must be at the Blue and Gold banquet by 4:45 PM, Sunday, February 13, 2005. Judging will that place prior to the start of the banquet!
2. Cake must be home baked (box mixes are acceptable) - No store bought cakes.
3. Cakes must be baked by father and son only - No Mothers. Exceptions: For those family situations where the father is not
   available another parent or guardian may be substituted.
4. Cakes are judged not on taste but on appearance; however, cakes must be edible (and should taste good since this is the Blue and Gold Dinner dessert).
5. Cakes are judged on appearance - use of shape, layers, color, and other decorations is encouraged. Decorations can be nonedible; however, the majority of the decoration should be of edible items (candy, frosting, sprinkles, etc.).
6. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
   · Tallest Cake
   · Most Colorful
   · Best Blue and Gold Theme (Back to the Future)
   · Most Creative
   · Most Layers
   · Best Use of Frosting
   · Most Realistic
   · Most Unusual
   · Best Scout Theme
   · Judges Choice
